RFFJ stage a small protest outside the family law courts in Belfast today.
This protest is to show the government that we will not be swayed by their tactics to silence our group and the issues of children and fathers.
We spoke to several barristers and members of the public and started a petition to hand to the N.Ireland Assembly calling for a review into family law.
This petition was also signed by some of the barristers that we spoke to; it shows that even within the legal industry that there is a need for change with family law in this country so that a child can finally have a right in law to see its parents as equals.
A further press release concerning the protest will be posted on this blog and sent to the mailing list.
